Rainbows in Gastro DDW 2025 Health Equity Travel Award
The Executive Board of “Rainbows in Gastro” is pleased to offer inaugural Health Equity Travel Awards to attend Digestive Disease Week 2025 in San Diego, California! Up to 3 awards will be provided for $1,000 to defray the cost of registration and travel.
Eligibility
- Present on a topic related to digestive health and health equity with strong preference given to topics related to sexual and gender minority health.
- Affirm a declaration that you are either of LGBTQIA+ identity or an ally committed to health equity – allies are welcome to apply.
- Attest that funds will be used to defray costs of in-person attendance to DDW.
How to Apply
Fill out an application form, provide a curriculum vitae and write 200 words about how your research helps to promote health equity and how this travel award would be of benefit for you.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, April 18th.
Awardees will be invited to attend an awards ceremony at our annual DDW Rainbows in Gastro event Sunday evening May 4th from 6-9PM PST.
